Myspace blog #2

So, Some of you may know that I am planning the first ever Gram-Positive Pathogens conference. I was highly amused at some of the abstract titles I received. KB is the faculty member who had the brainstorm for this conference in the first place. I have now received 2 interesting abstract titles. "Why KB knows more about Staphylococcus aureus than me." and "KB needs to work on his jump shot." This provided me with much amusement, but I was even more amused when I saw the following response being sent out:

"I am sorry to inform you that your abstracts have been rejected for participation in the National Conference on Gram-Positive Pathogens. Your first abstract entitled "Why KB knows more about S. aureus than me" was deemed too broad of a topic and would surely require much more space than our poster boards would allow. Your second abstract entitled "Why KB needs to work on his jump-shot" has the opposite problem - obviously not much to discuss here. I am sorry the news could not be better..."

Nice Job KB!
